A vintage porcelain serving tray that features cut out handles at the sides. The decoration is professionally hand painted with a smoky gray background and bold white stylized roses. The roses are highlighted by yellow and orange centers. We see the rim is lined with black to make the decoration pop.
Hallmarked on the bottom is the rising sun Nippon mark. This assists us in dating this lovely hand painted dish to the late 1920s.
Measuring just shy of 11 inches long, 7 inches handle to handle wide, and 2 inches deep we find this to be in excellent vintage condition. There are no scratches to the interior nor breaks in the porcelain. A really nice find from this time period.
