An antique porcelain ice cream platter and plate set that is decorated with delicate pink and green roses. The bowl is a rectangular shape with cut out molded handles at each end. The side plates are round and all show a beautiful scalloping at the rim. These are also decorated with pink and green roses.
The hallmark on this set is a stylized HO with a crown which was used by the Hermann Ohme Factory. We also find Elysee which is the mold name. Elysee was one of the earliest blanks from the Hermann Ohme factory. The Victorian set dates to between c. 1892- 1900.
The serving dish measures 11 inches long handle to handle, 10 inches wide and is 1 1/2 inches deep. The side plates measure 7 3/4 inches in diameter. We did see some wear to the decoration but this is minimal. There is no damage to the porcelain which makes this a beautiful serving set!
