Old Uncle Ned is a story book about a slave that has died but is not forgotten. This wonderful 19th Century hard cover was written by Stephen C. Foster and Illustrated by G.W. Brenneman.

Published by White and Allen of NY in 1889 with fantastic color (3 mounted color) plus many black and white illustrations.

The pages go unnumbered at 36 and are gilt tooled as is the front decorated cloth hard cover. The cover corners do have a bit of rub and two pages show bites at the bottom. Other than that this is in very, very clean condition with no damage to illustrations.

We see the music that was written about this story is included towards the back of the book. An extremely nice first addition to your black Americana collection!
