A antique porcelain vanity tray with a lovely transfer decoration of dogwood blossoms in the center. The blossoms are hand enameled with red and a dot of gold in the center of each flower. The bottom is not glazed which prevents the tray from slipping on vanity surfaces. We see two cut out areas for handles at each end.
The R.S. Prussia mark on the back is known as their Steeple mark. This is in gold and tells us that this was made in the late 19th century.
Measuring 10 1/4 inches long and 6 1/2 inches wide. We find this to be in wonderful antique condition with just a bit of gold wear which is typical for older pieces.
