An antique bowl that features a square mold design with a reticulated rim. The interior of the bowl is decorated with lovely roses in shades of pink and yellow. We see gold outlining the roses that finishes the decoration.
Marked with Germany in green script writing that tells us the country of origin. If we were to guess, we would place this in the first decade of the 20th century. Square shaped bowls were not typical during this time.
Measuring 8 1/2 inches square and 2 inches deep we find a bit of age related wear; especially to one of the small pink roses. There is also remnants of foiling on the exterior sides of the bowl but no damage to porcelain.
