An antique porcelain wine tankard that features a center portrait on the front. Typically named Constance, our lovely Victorian lady has long flowing blond hair and is front facing. The background colors start with a beige at the top and gradually fade to forest green at the bottom. The back side is bare and the applied handle is twisted at the top. There is a light coating of gold sponging to complete the decoration.
Hallmarked with an R/C crown mark which was used by the Rosenthal Porcelain Factory in Bavaria. The hallmark helps us date this to a manufacturing time of c. 1900.
The tankard measures 12 inches tall. We find some tiny specks of paint loss at the bottom but there is no cracks or chips within the porcelain. In fine antique condition!
