An antique pattern glass compote that featured a tall standard and pretty pattern. The rim is slightly scalloped and has a bar and block pattern just underneath it. The bowl shows stars and bottom of bowl a sunburst. The pedestal is equally intriguing with a barred section in the center with beading. The round base has ribbing and notches around the rim.
Manufactured by Richards & Hartley c. 1888 and U.S. Glass Co. c. 1891. This is called the Hanover Pattern aka Block with Stars; Blockhouse; Hanover Star.
The mouth measures 8 1/4 inches in diameter and the entire piece is 8 inches tall. This is in stunning antique condition without issues. You'll find a few inclusions typical to antique glass.
