An antique porcelain bowl that features a blown out carnation rim. We see a swirl and ruffle design on the interior which is decorated with wild roses and gold foiling. The rim shows areas of turquoise as a background around the carnations.
The hallmark is the word Germany in a double circle which tells us that this was manufactured in the late 1890s.
Measuring 10 1/2 inches in diameter and 3 inches deep, we find this in wonderful antique condition with no damage to porcelain. A fine example of porcelain pieces from this time period.
