An antique porcelain tray that features a gold leaf decoration along the interior rim. Each leaf has been hand painted in gold then decorated with Autumn colors of brown, copper, and burnished bronze. The heavily gilded split handle has a flower finial and the rim itself is covered with gold. This tray just glows with warmth.
The William Guerin Limoges mark on the bottom tells us that this was manufactured c. 1900. We do not find an artist signature but we surmise it was hand painted in house.
Measures 11 inches long by 6 inches wide. In fabulous antique condition without damage of any kind. A bit of gold wear to the rim but nothing that detracts in the least. Just a stunning piece of Limoges porcelain.
