A charming sterling silver comb and brush set specifically for a baby or small child. The bristles on the brush are very, very soft. The top of comb and top of brush are both done in solid sterling silver.
A bit of history on the hallmark. The company was called White & Foster from 1873 to 1878. In 1878 the name became Foster & Bailey. From 1898 to around 1951 they were called Theodore W. Foster & Brothers. Both Foster & Bailey and the later Theodore W. Foster & Brothers used the F&B in a flag mark. We would date this to 1940's - 1950s for a time period.
The little brush is 2 3/4 inches long and the comb measures 4 1/2 inches long. We do not think this was used all that much. It comes with the original box bottom. So very sweet!
