An antique porcelain cake plate set which has a lovely pattern of pink carnations. The mold name is Eglantine which has an deeply scalloped rim, scrolling and cut out areas to form handles on two sides for the cake plate. The matching coupe plates also sport the deep scalloped mold design. A lovely late Victorian era set.
Hallmarked by the Hermann Ohme factory with the stylized HO crown mark. This particular mark tells us that these were manufactured c. 1892-1900.
The cake plate measures 9 3/4 inches in diameter and the coupe plates measure 7 inches. We find the porcelain to be in excellent condition with no issues. A bit of gold wear can be seen on the rims. You receive the cake plate and 5 coupe plates.
