An antique glass serving bowl that features a double row of stars on the base. Above this area are a row of blocks with starred centers. We love the elegant scalloped base on this. Check our shop for the matching open compote.
This pattern is aptly named Starred Block and was manufactured by Dalzell, Gilmore, & Leighton c. 1888. It amazes us that something so fragile has lasted for so long.
Measuring 4 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter. We think this was used as a master berry bowl. It is in lovely antique condition without damage to glass. You will see some inclusions from the manufacturing process.
