An antique glass cake stand salver featuring a bleeding heart pattern. Along the icing rim we see a slight scalloped edge. The pedestal shows a flat hexagon shape in the center and a raised base.
This was manufactured by King Son & Co. with the pattern aptly named Bleeding Heart and dates to c. 1875.
Measuring 9 1/2 inches in diameter for the plate area and 5 1/2 inches tall we find a small amount of scratching to the plate surface. You'll find inclusions in the glass typical for this time period.
