A vintage silver mesh purse in an Edwardian style with embossed frame. The mesh body has little ball fringe on the bottom. The frame flares out in the center showing a cartouched area specifically for monogramming.
This is hallmarked German silver and stamped WHSCO on the interior of the frame. The WHSCO aka W.H. Saart Company founded by William H. Saart and dates to circa 1910.
Measures 7 inches wide and 6 inches long, chain drop is 7.5 inches. We do find that this has been repaired on one side which we have tried to show you in our photos. We have priced this accordingly. Unless you are looking at it closely, the repair does not show itself.
