A early American pattern glass compote featuring the original Moon & Stars aka Palace pattern. The pattern features ovals and stars around the bowl and base. This has a high standard to make it more of an elegant serving piece.
Manufactured by Adams and Company which helps us date this to c. 1888. Moon and Stars is a favorite pattern and is definitely timeless.
Measuring 7 1/4 inches in diameter with a height of 7 inches we find slight scratching due to use but no cracks, chips or repairs. There are inclusions in the glass which is typical of items during this time period.
