A fine porcelain cereal bowl that features a dark red rim with brushes of gold. The decoration is brown and green peonies that have been hand enameled to highlight the petals. The center is pristine white porcelain. Over the decoration we find a shiny glaze finish.
The hallmark on the bottom tells us that this was manufactured by the Hermann Ohme factory in Silesia, Germany. This is their Carmen mold and dates to c. 1892-1900.
Measuring 6 1/2 inches in diameter and 1 inch deep we do not find a bit of damage to the porcelain. This is in fine antique condition.
