A antique porcelain covered casserole dish featuring a delicate floral design. This hand painted over transfer pattern shows pretty pink flowers with complimentary branches and leaves. The lid also has the pink flower decorating it with a branch applied handle. This has an oblong shape perfect for a buffet.
The blue circle hallmark on the bottom tells us that this was manufactured by the Marx & Gutherz porcelain factory. This particular mark was used from 1885-1898. Our research tells us that this is pattern number 1813 from the Gutherz factory.
Measures 13 inches long, 8 inches wide and just over 3 inches deep. We find this to be in wonderful antique condition with absolutely no breakage of any kind. We also have the Gutherz coffee set in the same pattern along with a biscuit jar. What a great way to set your table!
