A pair of antique glass barber bottles featuring lion faces on stoppers and bases. The faced are embossed within the glass. These were most likely blown molded as we see a smoothed pontil on the bottom. Each has hand enameled flower decoration and gold highlights.
Manufactured by Dithridge & Co. circa 1898. This company is well known for this type of opalescent glass for vanity, bath and barber products.
Each bottle measures 9 1/4 inches tall. We see a chip off of one at the collar rim. We have priced accordingly due to this damage. It is nice to have a set of these. Each one shows an enormous amount of detail. Real quality!
