Victorian flue cover womans portrait c. 1900Victorian flue cover womans portrait c. 1900Victorian flue cover womans portrait c. 1900

An antique Victorian flue cover that features a lovely woman's portrait on paper. There is gold around the rim to accent the portrait. A decorative metal frame surrounds the portrait area with a chain attached for hanging.

These were made to hide the stove pipe during the summer months when the stove was put outside because of the heat. We would place this at turn of the 20th Century.

Measuring 8 inches in diameter, this has a replaced backing on it to preserve the portrait inside. It is in really beautiful condition.
