Antique opera glasses featuring a brass frame with black leather skin. The lenses are wrapped in black and the center has an adjusting knob for focusing. These were used at plays, operas, and horse races to give a birdseye view to the spectator.
We did not find a manufacturer's mark to help us identify who made these. We would place these c. 1900 - 1920s for a time period.
Measuring 4 1/2 inches wide we find some wear to the black but no damage to glass or brass areas. A great item!
