Victorian antique porcelain cake plate that features a heavily scalloped rim. There are plenty of scrolls and raised areas within the mold. The center area is an ivory color highlighted by an opalescent blue in the middle. Around the rim you'll find ferns connected with rose garlands with opalescent blue in between.
Hallmarked in two places by the Moritz Zdekauer, M.Z. Austria factory on the bottom. This assists us in dating the year of manufacture to c. 1884.
Measuring 9 3/4 inches from handle to handle we find a bit of wear to the decoration along the raised areas of the plate. There is no damage to porcelain.
