An antique porcelain cake plate that features the Clarion mold and decorated in the Old Ivory XVI style. The roses are cream and brown with hints of green. There is a matte glaze to finish the plate and the filigree is the E fleur de lis.
The Hermann Ohme factory mark on the underside tells us that this was manufactured c.1908. The company was out of business by the 1930's and their items are harder and harder to find especially in good condition.
Measuring the larger size of 11 inches handle to handle, we find just a bit of wear to the filigree on the interior of the plate. There are no dings, nicks breaks nor repairs.
