An antique porcelain vase that features a center portrait of the Reclining Lady or Flora. Flora is framed in a light blue background and has an elaborate decoration of raised gold design. The vase itself is pale yellow with deep maroon areas on the base and collar with gold foil decoration.
The St. Kilian hallmark was used by the Oscar Schlegelmilch factory in Thuringia, Germany and dates to 1904.
Measuring 9.25 inches high and 5.5 inches wide we find wear to the gold on the handles which could be restored. You'll see an ash mark on the portrait which was from the firing process. Overall, this is in wonderful condition for it's age. We did not find a bit of damage to porcelain.
