A Mexican silver bracelet featuring Mother of Pearl on each hinged link. Each MOP piece is mounted into the bracelet using silver bands and these represent masks. You will notice a traditional, elegant flair to the rest of the silver work with curls, small sea shells, rings and braiding. Superb craftsman ship at every level. Mother of Pearl comes from the interior shell of abalone.
The eagle mark on the clasp has faded so we are unable to determine Mexico city of craftsmanship. We would place this c. 1940s to 1950s.
Measuring 7 1/4 inches long this shows a bit of age patina to the silver. This could be cleaned and brightened easily or leave it to enjoy the vintage look.
