An antique custard glass bowl that features a waved pattern to the body which narrows up to the opening. This is hand decorated with tiny blue and white flowers and brown stems. We also find white enameling along the rim. We find a hole at the bottom of the bowl which we believe was used as an ash tray that was mounted to a stand along with a match holder. The hole looks to have been made for this purpose.
Studying our resources we have concluded that this indeed Wave Crest manufactured by C.F. Monroe and is c. 1906.
Measuring 8 inches at widest diameter and 3 1/4 inches deep. It is in beautiful condition without any damage to glass.
