An antique cut glass orange bowl featuring an oval shape. This is decorated with etched roses and leaves. The ends are slightly higher and have wonderful deep cut and etched star patterns. The bottom is cut with a 16 point star.
We did not find a manufacturers hallmark to helps us identify who made this but it is a quality blank that is clear and rings beautifully when pinged. We would place this in the later part of the American Brilliant Period of 1910.
It measures 11 inches long, 6 inches high, and 5 1/2 inches wide and weighs almost 5 lbs. There are a few minor bites that we could not capture with our lens. The sawtooth rim is intact. Just a lovely, lovely piece.
