An antique porcelain pickle dish that features a hand painted design of gold acorns against maroon and green leaves. The rim is lavishly decorated with gold where we find two cut out handles at each end. The interior is white porcelain that was left unpainted.
The hallmarks are the Jaeger Bavaria mark and the E.W. Donath Pickard studio mark which assists us in dating to c. 1910.
Measuring 8.625 inches long and 4.25 inches wide at the widest point. We find just a small amount of gold wear at the rim edge.
