An small antique blue glass bowl that features hand painted decoration. The deeply ruffled rim is dotted with gold. This piece is cased with blue glass on the interior and white glass underneath. We see more hand painted decoration on the inside of bowl. The base is clear glass and fits perfectly into a filigree gilt brass stand.
We are unsure of the maker on this as there is no markings. We would place in the 1890s for a time frame. Possibly used as a calling card receptacle.
Measuring 4 inches tall with sitting in the stand and 7 inches in diameter. This is a smaller size for this type of bowl. We find some wear to the decoration but did not find any damage to the glass.
