An antique porcelain plate that features a deeply scalloped rim design with many scrolls and raised areas within the mold. The center area is an ivory color with a spray of pink roses for decoration. The rim is decorated with ferns connected with rose garlands against a light blue background.
Hallmarked with the M.Z. Austria mark helps us date this lovely plate to 1884-1900.
Measuring 10 inches in diameter we find some wear to the decoration along the raised areas of the plate. Most likely from stacking other plates on top over a long period of time. Regardless, we think this is a lovely example of the late Victorian period and this still displays very well.
