An antique porcelain olive or pickle dish that features bright pink roses against a forest green background. The scalloped rim has a heavy gold border and enameling of gold. This is marked with Chantilly for the mold name or decoration name.
Hallmarked by the C. Tielsch Porcelain Factory, Silesia, Germany dating to c. 1880's to early 1900's. We also see 'hand painted' with a crown mark which tells us this may have been decorated at a porcelain decorating studio rather than at the factory.
Measures just over 7 inches long. We see a glaze line on the back that does not show through to the interior which means the porcelain is still intact. There is also a bit of gold wear to the rim but we would give this a score of 80% intact. Our price does reflect condition.
