An antique porcelain portrait bowl that features a dark red or burgundy color on the scalloped rim. This area also has a delicate floral design and ribbon swags underneath. There is an interior portrait scene that depicts a couple in period dress in a garden setting.
This item is marked with a blue bindenshield or beehive which we were able to determine was used by the Carl Knoll factory. We also see an importers mark which tells us that it was manufactured between 1883-1900.
Measures 9 inches in diameter and 1 3/4 inches deep with a tiny rough spot on the rim. We felt this rather than seen it. Our price does reflect the slight condition issue.
