An antique cake plate that features a daisy pattern. The background colors are a pale yellow just under the rim fading to white in the center. The rim is highlighted with hand applied gold decoration. The Moliere mold is famous for it's cutout frames along the rim as we see on this large piece.
Hallmarked with BRC tells us that this was manufactured by Rosenthal Porcelain Factory and helps us date to c. 1898. This is one of the first molds produced at the Kronach factory in Selb.
Measures a large 11 3/4 inches wide and 2 inches deep. It is in wonderful condition with just a smidgen of wear to the decoration. There is no damage to porcelain.
