An antique porcelain portrait plate featuring a lovely woman with long brown hair. She appears to have a brown robe on that shows a plunging neckline. We see white raised enameling on this area to enhance the portrait. The rim is a dark turquoise color decorated with gold stenciling. The interior rim is decorated with raised scrolling and more gold stenciling.
The blue beehive bindenshield mark was used by R.S. Prussia right around the turn of the century; c. 1900.
Measuring 9 1/2 inches in diameter with a bit of wear to the brown background over her left shoulder. This could easily be repaired and we have priced this accordingly.
