An antique glass bread tray proclaiming EUREKA in the center. This was a commemorative piece celebrating the California gold rush. This has an oblong shape with a stippled and striped pattern on the interior. The rim shows straight notches.
This was manufactured in the 1860s; were are unsure of the glass house.
Measuring 11.5" long and 9" at the widest, we find scratching on the glass but there is no damage such as cracks or chips.
