A vintage glass domed butter dish with a pattern reminiscent of Cut Log. We see raised ribs with cut out areas. The bottom has a gently scalloped rim and we see a star in the center. The finial to the lid also has the raised rib pattern.
This was manufactured by Westmoreland Glass Company and is their #15 pattern. We have done some research and believe this pattern was introduced around 1909.
The two pieces together measure approx. 5 inches tall with the bottom measuring 8" in diameter. We did not find any damage to the glass. It is a beautiful piece that would certainly be an elegant addition to your table setting.
