An antique porcelain bowl which features a leafy design on rim. We find the background colors of light blue mixed with cream. The center fading to white with just a small are of yellow. The floral decoration consists of purple and white lilacs with just a touch of white enameling.

Although unmarked this item is featured as plate #270 in Mary Frank Gaston's Encyclopedia of R.S. Prussia; The 4th series on page 93. The lilac pattern is one that was seldom used so this is a nice treat.

Measuring 10 inches in diameter we find a bit of wear commiserate with age. There is no damage to porcelain. A lovely, lovely bowl.
