A vintage porcelain covered syrup pitcher with matching under plate that features heavy gold roses. The background colors consist of cobalt, white and beige. The handle and rims are lined with a thick coating of gold to compliment the rose decoration. The roses are surrounded by fancy frames on the body and lid.
Hallmarked with Noritake and a wreathed M in green tells us that this was made c. 1920-1940 in Japan and all decoration is hand painted.
The pitcher measures 5 inches wide and 4 inches tall. The liner measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter. You'll see a indentation in the liner rim which is covered with gold so this was done in during manufacturing. No other issues to report. A gleaming set!
