An antique porcelain mustard dish featuring a tiny pink rose design. This has it own attached underplate to catch any drips. The lid has a spot cut out at the end to accommodate a small spoon for serving the mustard. The bottom is not glazed nor is the inner rim of dish. The prevented the lid from rattling and the dish from slipping on table surfaces.
This is hallmarked by the Marx & Gutherz factory, Carlsbad, Bohemia. The double circle mark with the name dates to 1885.
Measuring 5.5" long and 3.5" wide, we find this in superior antique condition. It is ready to use on your table. This also would be perfect for a breakfast tray to hold your favorite jam.
