A vintage porcelain bowl that features are very large butterfly. There are pink and white roses against a lattice background sharing space with the butterfly. This has a lavender coloring around the border which has been hand trimmed in black. This has a very large scalloped rim with cut out areas between them.
Hallmarked by the E.S. Prussia factory (Erdmann Schlegelmilch) with their Prov. Sxe Mark and Hand Painted in cursive. The mark helps us date the manufacturing time to the c. 1930s just before the factory closed.
As best we can measure this diameter is 9 5/8" and is almost 3" deep. We find some slight surface wear from age but there is no damage to the porcelain.
