Gold moriage porcelain plates snowflakes flowers c. 1900
A set of porcelain plates featuring gold moriage detailing on the front. There is a snowflake / flower decoration in the middle of each piece. The rim shows a complimentary decoration against a yellow background.
All four plates are unmarked save for a number on the back of each of them. Based on the decoration we would attribute these to a Japanese company. They date to the first decade of the 20th Century, possibly earlier.
Measuring 9" in diameter, we do not find any breaks or chips. There is gold wear on all four but these still show brilliantly. Price does reflect the condition.
