An antique blue opalescent brides bowl featuring a flared, shallow design. The rim is a milky white. The interior is a light blue and shows a slight ribbed design. Although this looks to be hand blown, this is a pressed piece as we can see three mold lines in the glass.
We are unsure of the manufacturer at this time. We would place this in the late 1880s to 1890s for a time period. Typically you would see these bowls presented in a silver plate holder or pedestal base.
Measuring a large 12 inches at widest width we find straw marks and bubbles in glass from the manufacturing process. There is no damage to this. We have inspected it very carefully.
Please note that we will be unable to combine this piece with another to avoid damage during shipping. Ships separately.
