Native American silver eagle brooch Navajo hand wroughtNative American silver eagle brooch Navajo hand wroughtNative American silver eagle brooch Navajo hand wroughtNative American silver eagle brooch Navajo hand wrought

An antique Navajo silver eagle pin featuring hand engraved designs. We see a symbol in the center meaning life, strength, the Sun. The eagle itself, in Native American culture symbolizes honesty, truth, strength, courage. It is believed because the eagle soars high into the sky that it has a special connection to God.

Because this is a hand wrought piece we do not find any markings on it. This tested positive for silver and we see a bit of copper under the pin mount.

Measuring just over 1.5" wide at the top of the wing span, we find this in beautiful antique condition and ready to wear.
