An antique shaving cup and matching toothbrush vase featuring gold foil flowers. The porcelain is a pristine white showing gold flower foil transfers in the center. The rims and shaving cup handle are accented with gold.
Hallmarked with the Dresden semi-porcelain mark tells us that both were manufactured by the Dresden Pottery Works, East Liverpool, Ohio. We would date these to right at the end of the 19th Century.
The cup measures 3.75" tall and the vase is 4.75" tall. We find crazing to the porcelain which is typical. There is not damage to either piece. Both would transition nicely to today's bathroom or vanity.
