An antique porcelain chocolate pot that is decorated with laurel wreaths and tiny pink roses. The rims and base of pot have thickly applied coin gold with chains of pink roses and leaves. These areas look to be hand painted. The spout is wide and placed high on the pot which is a typical feature for chocolate pots.
Hallmarked by the M.Z. (Moritz Zdekauer) Austria porcelain factory on the bottom assists us in dating this to the late 1800's.
Measuring 9 3/4 inches in height we find this in beautiful antique condition. The porcelain is not damaged and there if very little wear to the decoration. Extremely fine!
