An antique porcelain shaving cup featuring an embossed scale pattern. The porcelain is extremely fine with gold flowers. Around the flowers we see hand painted leaves and stems in brown and blue. The top interior is separated for soap and the other side for draining. The interior rim is painted a light peach color.
Although unmarked we know that this is R.S. Prussia porcelain from their earlier years. We would place this in the late 1880s for a manufacturing date.
Measuring 3.5" tall and 3.25" diameter at the top we find a nip out of the rim. Our price does reflect the condition.
