An antique cake plate featuring a Victorian mold that has a scalloped rim and pierced handles. We see vivid blue cornflowers decorating the center with hand applied gold accenting on the handles and rims. The porcelain is a bright white which really makes the flowers stand out.
This lovely server is unmarked but based on our experience we would say this is German or Austrian in origin and dates to circa late 1890's.
Measuring 10.5" handle to handle, we find only a bit of gold wear but no damage to porcelain. In excellent antique condition.
