An antique cut glass jam pot featuring a strawberry diamond pattern, applied solid glass handle and silver plate lid. The lid works perfectly with a cut out area for a spoon. The clear glass body is rounded in the center and narrows down at the base.
There is not a mark telling us the manufacturer. This is a lovely antique piece we would place c. 1890's.
Measuring 4" high to the tip of the lid and 3.5" wide including the handle we find wear to the silver areas. There are tiny bites on the deep cut areas of the body. Our camera would not focus on these but we do want to mention it. This is typical of glass of this age and earlier use. Our price does reflect the condition.
