A mouth blown glass napkin ring featuring two clear glass birds sitting atop a black ring. The lower bird is a bit wider so we'll call her the girl with the male bird sitting at the higher perch. They both look ready to burst into song while looking at each other intently.
The perch that they sit upon is black glass and is shaped more like a wave than a branch. There is a nice rippled pattern to this. The base is flat as to be expected with a bit of roughness from the pontil.
This would also make a lovely gift as it is small enough for a curio cabinet. The overall length is 4 1/2 inches, width is 2 1/4 inch, and height to the top bird is just over 3 1/2 inches. You can see inclusions bubbles in each bird from the blowing process.
