An antique porcelain vase featuring a black background with semi-nude portraits of Roman women and a fairy with wings. We find Greek key designs on top and bottom with a burnt sienna orange inner rim. Gold detailing finishes the decoration.
Hallmarked on the bottom with the Royal Bayreuth blue mark which tells us that it was made c. 1902. The Corinthian Ware line was reversed decorated. The pieces where painted in black then the decoration was etched out.
This is a nice size at 7" tall. Most of the Corinthian ware items were small pieces under 5". We did not find a bit of damage to this. In excellent condition and ready for you to enjoy.
