Simply smashing this period Deco piece is sure to fetch the raves! This piece is stamped "Trojans" in fancy script on the back. It has a gold gilt over a base metal perhaps brass. Black enamel decorates the edges while the center has three protruding tomato red glass nearly pyramidal shapes - though there is just a hint of dark gray swirled in each piece. This is wide and resembles a cuff bracelet but does have a chain and clasp connecting the hinged parts.
The bracelet is app. 6.35inches overall in length - so smaller; HOWEVER, one could very easily just add a couple of jump rings at each side to extend the size. The 3 decorative panels measure app. 5.25inches in length and 1.25inches at the widest center panel point. The glass pieces are in sawtooth mounts and the center is app. 14.5mm square and domes up at app. 13mm and the side ones 11.5mm square and dome up at app. 10mm.
This is in very good condition overall with some age appropriate wear. There is a flake off one edge at the top of the center glass and a couple of tiny ones in the side of one of the smaller pieces. I louped them and found two round pinpricks in the side of the center stone and of the same shape and size - perhaps mold flaws? There is some gilt wear with age and a little tarnish. The enamel work has minimal wear. The bracelet faces up very well and is ready for the next generations to enjoy!BG83
